Campaign: | Promoting para-climbing |
Growing up wasn’t without its challenges. I was born with one arm, but it hasn’t held me back in life.
One thing which helped me cope with it all was climbing.
I get so much out of it. Not only is it great exercise – it gives me a feeling of achievement, improvement and confidence.
Now a member of Team GB’s para-climbing team, I hope to be a role model and inspire others.
With the help of Fixers, myself and fellow Fixer Jonathan Chambers hope to make a film encouraging more people with disabilities to give climbing a go.
I want to thank fellow Fixer Jonathan Chambers for helping me with my Fix.
Andy Coltart gave an interview for the broadcast item on ITV News.

My Fixers campaign to get more young people into climbing is going from strength to strength.
Para-climbing Commission President, Andy Coltart, is showing my Fixers broadcast to representatives from 81 countries at the IFSC Plenary Assembly in Paris.
He is using the film to encourage other nations to develop Para-climbing as a sport.
I've also had encouraging feedback from other members of the public, some of which you can read below:

'Inspirational!'

'Amazing people!'
