I’ve been doing roller derby for three years and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. But there are still a few misconceptions about the sport.
Some people think it’s too aggressive.
In actual fact, it’s a very inclusive sport, which requires a lot of skill. You don’t have to be a certain size or look a certain way. Anyone can play and it keeps you fit too.
To help challenge its negative reputation, we’ve enlisted the help of Fixers to create a short film looking at the benefits of roller derby and to end stereotypes.
