Annie

Name: Annie Jones
Age: 16
Year of the Fix: 2014
Location: Rainford, Merseyside
Campaign: Promoting cultural diversity

Where I live is quite rural and you don’t really get a mix of people of different ethnic backgrounds.

You can walk down the street and not see anyone who’s not white.

I think it’s important that young people in particular make the effort to understand a range of different cultures.

That’s why my team and I have chosen to enlist the help of Fixers.

We want to create a short film to encourage young people to embrace diversity and learn about others.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:

Emma Warren Hannah Tabernacle
Hannah Woods Jodie Daniels
Lauren Connor Michaela McIntyre
Sally Ashton Vicky Agbozo

Rainford High Technology College

The college have supported my Fix by allowing me to film for my broadcast piece there. Ian Young, Principal at the College, was also interviewed for the film.
