I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was three-years-old. Since then, it has affected my school, work and social life.
I was often sent home from school due to the frequency of my seizures and I ended up finding it difficult to make friends. I felt isolated from my classmates.
More recently, I was also diagnosed with the learning difficulties dyslexia and dyscalculia, but this had been overlooked for years due to the attention my epilepsy required.
With the help of Fixers, I want to be able to help young epileptics come to terms with their condition and have a greater understanding of what it is.
I hope to inspire determination and encourage others to move forward with their lives despite the challenges that they may face.
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
