Name: Hannah Jones
Age: 22
Year of the Fix: 2013
Location: Reeth, North Yorkshire
Campaign: Providing peer support for young parents

Being a parent can be one of the most rewarding jobs in life, but it’s made harder when you’re judged by society.

I’m a mother of two and can say there is a stigma associated with having a child at a young age.

We’re working with Fixers to encourage more young parents to seek support in the early years of parenthood.

Joining a support group for young parents has helped me meet others with similar experiences to mine.

We understand how hard it is so they too can see they're not on their own.

Here are a few Fixers helping me with my Fix:

Naomi Lawton

Anna Lincoln

Jasmine Stockley

Lucy Gray

Birth and Beyond

We are all members of a young mothers support group, which is ran by Birth and Beyond. Parent Support Advisor, Melanie Layton was also interviewed for our broadcast story.
