Discrimination affects many people and comes in a variety of forms.
Just because someone has alternative beliefs shouldn’t make them a victim of ridicule or a target for bullying.
It is my mission to end negative attitudes some may have towards Scotland’s LGBT communities by giving young people a voice to express themselves.
I feel that it is important that everyone is taken seriously in society, regardless of their sexual orientation.
I’m working with Fixers to help produce a film capturing the genuine challenges which many LGBT young people experience day to day.
The aim is to show the film to decision-makers in Scottish Parliament and influence some sort of change.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
LGBT Youth Scotland
This is the largest community-based organisation for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in Scotland. They supported my Fix by allowing Fixers to film at the annual gathering.
