Campaign: | Promoting the benefits of good deeds |
Too often young people are portrayed in a negative light and I think it’s time we showed what we can do to have a positive impact on our community.
I want young people to realise how easy it is to help others and to commit to doing good deeds every day.
It doesn’t need to be anything big as even the smallest gestures can make a difference to those in need.
If enough people get involved and share details of their random acts of kindness, I hope this region and others will become nicer places to live.
With Fixers I’m creating a film to promote my good deeds campaign. I hope people will listen to my call to action and do good deeds of their own.
Fixers Duha, Shengyan, Chloe, Fiona, Joe, Ricky and Charles have helped me with this project.
The Sharpham Trust
The Sharpham Trust have supported my Fix. I volunteer on a mental health support project they run.
Daniel Pirch
Daniel is supporting my Fixers project. He needs volunteers for a charity event he’s organising and I’m hoping to find people willing to do a good deed and help him out!
The following people have also supported my Fix, by agreeing to be filmed benefiting from a good deed for my promotional video: Alex Snowball, Syliva Cope, Barbara Finch, Elsie Lakey, Fay Pedley and L Frose.
Summer 2013
A Facebook page has been set up to support the campaign. You can click here to share your random acts of kindness.
