I feel like the media consistently reinforces heterosexual relationships and misrepresents or underrepresents the gay community.

 

As a gay man, struggling with my sexuality was made harder by confusing and mixed messages in the media. I felt that there were no same-sex relationships with which to associate with and look up to.

 

I used my Fixers project to create a music video where two men are the main love interests. I want to see more focus on loving same-sex relationships in the media so that it can be normalised and accepted in the same way as a heterosexual relationship would.
