When I came out as being gay at 14, it was a very difficult time for me because I was bullied at school and hated every day.
Despite years of verbal and physical abuse, I hung on in there. If it wasn't for my supportive family, I dread to think what would have happened.
One thing which really helped me to cope was writing music about how I was feeling.
With the help of Fixers, I'm recording a song which talks about my own experiences so that I can stop homophobic bullying in schools and also make people feel happy with who they are.
Hopefully my song will make people think a bit more about their actions.
A special thanks to my fellow Fixers Liam Allen and Sandy Nicholson, who performed and wrote our Fixers song 'Hold Your Breath'.
My campaign was featured and I was interviewed on Capital FM Yorkshire.
With the help of Fixers, Liam, Sandy and I have completed our song 'Hold Your Breath'.
We are looking to get it on iTunes and on radio stations to raise as much awareness as possible about the issue of bullying.
