Cyber-bullying is a big issue today in society, especially as more and more people use social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
Abuse experienced online can often be intensified as you sometimes can’t face up to the issue in person. The bully is able to hide behind a screen.
With the help of my friends, we are trying to put a stop to cyber-bullying. We know people who have been affected by it, yet the bullies do not seem to think they are doing any wrong.
Through an interactive play, we will allow the audience to participate as the ‘bullies’ by allowing them to comment on the performance and affect the mood of the characters of the play.
Through this, we hope to show how cyber-bullying damages a real person, not a screen.
