Name: Nancy Jones
Age: 21
Year of the Fix: 2013
Location: Isle of Sheppey, Kent
Campaign: To advertise for foster carers with the right qualities

I have been fostered since I was just over one-year-old, and have had good experiences of foster care.

But some children are not as lucky.

I am worried that a lot of this misfortune comes because foster carers are advertised in the wrong way. Instead of promoting decent values, a lot of fostering advertising campaigns are money-driven, turning foster care into a business.

I'm setting up an alternative campaign where adverts are led by foster children, so they can campaign for the people they want.

Thank you to everyone who helped with my project, especially the people who starred in my film - Scott, Harry, Yara, Christine, Josh and Alex. I'd also like to extend my thanks to Janet Oladele.
