Campaign: To stop bullying in schools

Bullying is tough on the victims, and it's even tougher when the victims do not know where to turn.

Schools and youth groups in our area are doing a lot to tackle bullying, but we feel there is not enough advice or information from other victims of bullying, or from the bullies themselves.

With the help of my friends, I'm creating a booklet for bullies and the bullied, making everyone aware of the effects bullying has.

Bullying can lead people to self-harm and even suicide and that's not right. But as well as the victims finding help, the bullies need to know the effects their abuse is having. We hope to tackle this with the booklet.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:

Alexander Swan Bethan Edwards
Carys Haf Lewis Ethan Thomas
James Parker Jordan Bezant
Kealey Griffiths Lowri Bee
Phillip Jones Shannon Edwards
Shannon Wilce

Thanks to Rosa Alice Truelove who helped with the illustrations in our booklet.

Thank you for supporting our Fixers project and helping us with our campaign.

August 2013

The booklets received a lot of positive feedback from young people:

'This was really good because it made me think about lots of different things not just about what I thought bullying was.'

'The pictures were really good and made it easier to understand.'

'It was better that it had discussion points instead of questions because it really made us think and talk about lots of different things.'
