Campaign: | Stop domestic violence in young relationships |
I experienced domestic violence during my teens from my teenage boyfriend.
What started out as emotional abuse soon turned violent, and it was clear that I needed to speak out about my situation.
A lot of places I turned to helped, but it seemed not many young people properly understood what domestic violence is.
My Fix is to show exactly what counts as domestic violence. It can be anything from subtle emotional control, to full-blown violent episodes.
Through an interactive film which shows reconstructions of domestic violence, I hope to show young people – male or female – who feel they are in the same position to seek help immediately.
