We received a Diana Active Campaigner Award at a ceremony in London on Wednesday 16th October. The Award recognises all that we've achieved with the Harwich Hoody Festival.
We are planning a bigger and better Harwich Hoody Festival for 2013. It will be held on 9th November 2013 from 10.30am-3pm.
The event will be held at the same location as the previous two years at Park Pavilion, Barrack Lane, Dovercourt, Harwich, Essex, CO12 3NS
To raise money for the festival, we are sleeping under the stars in the haunted fort in Old Harwich!

Our festival was featured on ITV Anglia Tonight news, the first of the Fixer pieces in this region. Watch the video here.
Following this, our story was featured on the Harwich and Essex Community website.

A total of 70 people attended the Teen Talk awards in Harwich - a large increase from the previous year - and this was due to the festival!
We had a large amount of great feedback, this is what just some of the people in attendance said of the event:
'Fantastic atmosphere. Great effort from the youngsters. Would be great to see this as an outdoor event. Support from the town has been great.'
'The festival made me realise that we can all get along with everyone and become a closer community when we join in with these kind of festivals.'
'The festival showed me how much talent there is in Harwich. These events help change the perception of young people.'
'It's great to see people of all ages come together and share great live music. A very positive thing for Harwich. Wonderful to see.'
