When I was 14 I started getting involved in crime and was drinking and taking drugs. This behaviour eventually led to me serving a prison sentence. I knew this wasn’t the life for me but it was hard for me to know who I was and what I wanted to do with my life.
After my first stay in prison, I got involved with the Youth Offending Team in Southampton. I thought it was all a big joke and didn't let them help me - until I got sent back tp prison. That's when I realised that I had fallen into a cycle that I desperately needed to get out of.
When I was reintroduced to the Youth Offending team, I realised that they were there to help me. I realised that there were other things for me to do in life and that I could put my mind to it. I enrolled on an apprecticeship with a music studio in Southampton and have been really loving it.
When I was put in contact with Fixers, I decided that I wanted to write a track about my experiences and they shot a video to go with it. I want to use this video to make other young people realise that no matter how bad life is - have faith in yourself and let people help you.

Fixers is a project of the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, and featured on ITV.
