I began suffering with anxiety and depression in Year 10.
As the exam pressure increased, my anxiety worsened.
My grades began to slip and eventually things were so bad I considered hurting myself.
A friend noticed I was struggling and reached out. Without her things could have got a lot worse.
I want teachers to recognise the signs of anxiety so they know when to step in and help.
