When I was a child, I wanted to be an actor but I was discouraged by seeing so few black and Asian actors in films or on TV.
Fixers has helped me make a film showing the real life experiences of some young BAME actors.
They told me that all too often they are turned down at auditions or offered only very minor parts.
I think it’s really important young people have role models and what they see on the screen is a big part of that.
I would like to thank the following people for helping me with my fix:
Abdul Malik Dapaah
Mary-Anne White and Lucy Wills
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
