Campaign: An acronym to ensure young people are mentally prepared to drive

In 2014, a family friend of mine was injured in a car accident, resuting in him being unable to attend university.

Affected by his story, I teamed up with Fixers to do a road safety project.

I have created a personal checklist for drivers to following before taking to the roads, using the acronym M.O.T.

This stands for 'Mindfulness', 'Obstructions' and 'Tell someone'.

I hope my M.O.T will ensure that drivers are mentally ready before getting into a vehicle.
