I came to live in Edinburgh from Sudan three years ago.
The biggest challenge was language – I couldn’t communicate with people and they couldn’t understand me.
There was also racism because I wear a headscarf.
My school’s cultural inclusion group made a huge difference. We share our problems and feelings and it makes you feel that you’re not alone.
I’d like the cultural inclusion groups to be introduced to as many schools as possible.
