Campaign: | To tell young people having difficulties at school there is light at the end of the tunnel |
I was a teacher’s nightmare at school.
I was very naughty and after being excluded many times, I ended up getting kicked out permanently.
I feel sorry for my teachers now but I do feel they could have listened more to me and given me more support.
With Fixers, me and my friends have produced a booklet telling of our own troubled times at school. It covers things like bullying, behavioural problems and the need for better teacher training.
Mentoring turned my life around and I recommend it. The common theme to our stories is: there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
