Year of the Fix: 2018
Location: Bath
Campaign: To tell young people having difficulties at school there is light at the end of the tunnel

I was a teacher’s nightmare at school.

I was very naughty and after being excluded many times, I ended up getting kicked out permanently.

I feel sorry for my teachers now but I do feel they could have listened more to me and given me more support.

With Fixers, me and my friends have produced a booklet telling of our own troubled times at school. It covers things like bullying, behavioural problems and the need for better teacher training.

Mentoring turned my life around and I recommend it. The common theme to our stories is: there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this fix:

Jordon Harrington

Holly Shaw

Elle Ingram

Bradley Edward

Drew Bodmin

I would like to thank the following people for supporting me with this fix:

The Blagrave Trust and Jim Noke at Mentoring Plus.
