When I was younger my mum got together with another man. He was very violent towards us all.
The abuse went on for five years. Then one summer we ran away from him and moved hundreds of miles from our home.
Life was good. But then a boy at school sexually assaulted me. A few months later I was assaulted again, this time by an older man.
Talking to people about my experiences has helped me heal the wounds from the abuse.
I want others who may be going through a similar thing to know it is OK to talk to someone about it. It really does help.
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
