Campaign: | To urge people to put down their phones and talk to each other. |
I go on social media like everyone else, but I feel that for too many of us it is becoming an obsession and that’s not a good thing.
Because everyone is so into their phones, it doesn’t feel like people are living in the moment, or enjoying spending time with the person they’re actually with.
I think there’s a lot less human-to-human contact now. Why do we feel the need to tell everyone what we’re doing all the time on social media?
Everywhere you go at least one person will be on their phone, or they’ll get their phone out and feel the need to go on it and look at social media.
I think it’s important to remember we can enjoy ourselves without constantly checking Facebook or Instagram.
