When I was 11 years old there was an arson attack on my home. All our possessions were destroyed in the fire and, worst of all, both my beloved dogs died.
It left me with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I had flashbacks and panic attacks and really struggled at school.
I was introduced to scuba diving and found it really good for relieving stress and I haven’t looked back since.
Fixers is helping me encourage young people to try and find a hobby or try a new activity.
I think it’s really valuable to find something in life where you don’t have to be serious - you can just be you.
