I think young people like myself are often told their views don’t matter.
This can lead many to keep issues that often impact their lives to themselves.
I used to be a member of the Wrexham Youth Parliament and now work for the Wrexham Youth Service.
We listen to what young people have to say on issues, which range from bullying to street lighting, and then try to influence decision-makers to make positive change.
Now, I’ve teamed up with Fixers to organise an event, which aims to inspire young people to express themselves through music, art, photography and literature.
Hopefully it will encourage individuals to use their voices for good.
