I care for my mum, who has multiple sclerosis (MS) and social anxiety.
Often times, this can involve getting the shopping, doing house chores or generally being there for her when she needs me.
It can be difficult being a teenager and also a young carer, but it’s something I’ve become used to. I feel happy knowing that I’m helping somebody else.
My Fixers project is to raise more awareness about the job that other young carers do because I don’t think many people really know.
I hope this campaign will show others like me that there is support out there.
I would like to thank Morgan Geddes-Ward for helping me with this Fix.
