Campaign: | To encourage young people to talk about mental health |
It was not until I was nineteen years old that I was diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa.
I had no idea about mental health when I was younger. I don’t remember it ever being talked about.
I look back and I think if it was spoken about, I would have had that basic understanding and I would have been able to think no, this isn’t right.
After a long, up and down journey I am recovered.
My Fixers project is to encourage young children to talk about mental health.
From my experiences has grown a great passion to be the change I wish to see so that I can support others, raise awareness and ultimately reduce the increasing number of children experiencing ill mental health.
