Campaign: | To get more young people involved in politics |
My mum and dad are quite political and we always used to discuss politics across the dinner table. When I was little I wanted to be the Queen because I thought that was where all the power was.
Now I’m Peterborough’s Youth MP, and Fixers is helping me with my campaign to get more young people involved in politics.
I think everything is at stake at the moment. Our future and our children’s future is all being decided right now. So my message to young people is that you should be engaged in politics – even if it’s just by voting when you get the chance.
I don’t want to be Queen any more. But one day I would like to be the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
The following Fixers helped me with this Fix:
Elvis Munyiri
Ben Chapman
Hani Mustafa
Nicolle Moyo
Jenny Weeden from Peterborough City Council supported me with this Fix.
