I’m a 25-year-old gay man with a Vietnamese heritage.
Ever since I came out, I have suffered racism from people within the LGBT community. I’ve been called a 'chink' among many other things.
I find it surprising that people who were often bullied because of their sexual orientation are now bullies themselves.
Fixers has helped my with a poster campaign and I’m planning to put my posters up in gay pubs and clubs.
The message is simple: we belong to a community that has gone through a lot of discrimination in the past – so you shouldn’t discriminate.
Fixers is a project of the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, and featured on ITV.
