I became a young carer when I was around six. I care for my younger brother, who has asthma.
We are proud to be young carers and want to show how our life skills can also be used in a professional environment.
We made postcards with Fixers because we felt like it was the fastest way to get our message across.
You can take them to job interviews and into colleges and show how challenging a young caring role can be and the skills you gain from trying to fit your life around it.
The following Fixers helped me with this Fix:
Jo McCorriston and Holly McGoldrick from Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre supported me with this Fix.
