Campaign: | To show young people get arthritis too |
When I was 17 I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. There have been times when I’ve told people I have arthritis, and they’ve said ‘you’re too young to have that’.
We made a light-hearted film with Fixers because arthritis can be scary but we all try to look at it in a positive way.
We wanted to reach out to other young people who have been diagnosed with it, and help them to feel less frightened and show that you can find a funny side to things too.
We want to show the film in hospitals, so that teenagers who have just been diagnosed can see it and know they’re not on their own.
We also want to show it in schools.
