I've always had symptoms of dyslexia, but it wasn't until I was about 16 that I was diagnosed.
I had trouble in school and I didn’t have any help. It was a horrible time for me. I got bullied and called ‘dumb’ by other kids, they thought I was weird and didn’t want to hang out with me.
I've made a film with Fixers because I want to help little ones who are in school at the moment. A lot of people don’t know much about dyslexia.
I’ve used a sock puppet in the film to show what happened to me and how bad school was so that teachers and students can see what went wrong and what they should do better.
The following Fixers helped me with this Fix:
Carlton Elgerald, Vibe Youth Ltd and Dee Day and Phil Thomas from Milford Youth Matters supported me with this Fix.
Mary-Anne White and Lucy Wills
Tilly and Bella
Shak & Natasha
