I have autism and it made secondary school hard for me - people just made assumptions about me and I got labelled as a problem child because of my autistic traits.
Because I didn't have a formal diagnosis, teachers would just assume that I was being naughty and other students would assume that I was weird.
I've made a film with Fixers because I was misunderstood and had a hard time and don't want anyone else to experience what I did.
I want to tell people that if you have autism it shouldn’t hold you back or hinder what you want to do.
The following Fixers helped me with this Fix:
Molly Mae Thompson
Tilly and Bella
Mary-Anne White and Lucy Wills
Fixers is a project of the Public Service Broadcasting Trust, funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund, and featured on ITV.
