Campaign: To tackle hate crime against people with learning disabilities

I want to tackle hate crime against people with learning disabilities. It's a big issue in today's society and it affects us very badly.

I have learning disabilities and I experienced hate crime after falling out with a group of friends - they would use my phone number or email address to order takeaways without my permission, and once I ended up with the police and ambulance services at my door after they reported an alleged disturbance.

I've made a poster with Fixers to send a message that hate crime against people with learning disabilities is wrong.

I would like to share the posters with day centres, public transport, libraries, police stations, hospitals, shopping centres, supermarkets, schools, colleges, on social media and in health centres.

The following Fixers helped me with this Fix:

Bekka Blackwood

Stewart McBride

Benjamin Oliver

Sonya Bewsher from Learning Disability Alliance Scotland (LDAS) and Catharine McKinlay from Falkirk Council supported me with this Fix.
