My Fixers project is aimed at making sure parents and teachers are better informed about self-harm.
Most teenage friendship groups know someone who self-harms. People self-harm every day, every hour, and they don't have the help they need.
My form of self-harm wasn't visual. I punished myself emotionally not physically. I know that people who do cut themselves feel alone and isolated.
I hope my project leads to parents feeling more comfortable talking to their child about self-harm.
