Year of the Fix: 2017
Location: Timsbury, North Somerset
Campaign: For there to be more disability sports shown on mainstream TV

I’ve got spina bifida so I'm paralysed from the waist down and I use a wheelchair to get around.

A few years ago I discovered wheelchair basketball. I loved playing it and now I coach a team.

Fixers has been helping me with my campaign to get more disability sports shown on mainstream television.

It would mean more opportunities for people to participate in sports, and from personal experience, I know that being in a team, being around people who understand what you are going through, is very important.

Sophie Kamlish and James Ireland helped me with this Fix.

Julie Anne Harding supported me with this Fix.
