I was bullied in school, which caused me to have very little confidence and trust in people.
Other students would call me names and generally exclude me from their company.
Sometimes I would cry on my way into school because I was worried about seeing the people that would pick on me.
I eventually told my family about the situation and they helped to make things better at school. But even then, the after-effects of being bullied have stayed with me.
I’ve produced a Fixers booklet for teachers to educate pupils about the impact of bullying.
Hopefully it will make young people think twice about their actions and realise how bullying can have a negative impact on people’s lives.
