Campaign: | To warn young people not to believe everything they read online |
I study history at university and I'm writing my dissertation on the Holocaust - the genocide led by Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany which killed millions of Jewish people.
When I was doing some research for my degree I found websites denying that it had ever even happened and it really angered me.
So with Fixers I made a film encouraging young people not to believe everything that they see or hear on the internet.
I want to share the film in schools and colleges. I hope it shows young people that it’s important to look for the correct information which is backed up by facts instead of just believing everything you read online.
Lauren Norman and Jack Bennett helped me with this Fix.
Joe Watts, Michael McCarthy and Matthew Feldman - from Teesside University - supported me with this Fix.
