I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when I was three years old and my parents were told that I wouldn't make it to the age of 16.
I started karate when I was 14. It was a lifestyle choice - I didn't want to let cystic fibrosis debilitate me.
I found that taking part in sports that I love could help add years to my life expectancy - I'm 22 now and I don't plan on letting cystic fibrosis beat me anytime soon.
Exercise can really help people with cystic fibrosis and I started a poster campaign with Fixers to encourage other people with the condition to get fit.
Affinity Sutton supported me with this Fix.
