When I was about 15 or 16, I was mugged. I thought I'd got over it, but I really hadn't dealt with it at all.
During the worst times, I was a complete recluse. I stayed in, I didn't do anything, and I didn't really speak to my friends.
I had heart palpitations and felt lethargic so I just ended up sitting in my room all day and all night.
Eventually I went to see a counsellor and I felt so much better.
I know that young men really do struggle due to the stigma that is attached to speaking up if you're a man.
I hope that by talking about what I’ve been through, it will encourage men to stand up and talk about their problems.
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
