Exams can take their toll on students. I recently took my A-levels and while I did okay, it a really stressful time.
There is so much pressure on young people to do well, but many don’t realise the impact these expectations can have.
I would often have sleepless nights before exams and constantly be worried, which isn’t healthy for anyone.
I think that while exams are important, they’re not necessarily a reflection on someone’s ability.
So with Fixers, I have made a poster showing different student's experiences of exam stress.
I hope it will encourage others to speak to someone if they are feeling overwhelmed.
I also want them to realise that academia is not the only way to be successful.
