I live in the city centre and experience street harassment on at least a weekly basis. It ranges from wolf whistles and cat calls, to really graphic sexual comments, to unwanted sexual touching.
I don’t know a woman who hasn’t experienced street harassment at some point, and I just don’t think that’s acceptable in 2016.
I’m trying to get people talking about the issue, sharing their experiences, and hopefully challenging the underlying attitudes behind this kind of behaviour.
