I started playing the bagpipes about six years ago.
I was always intrigued by the sound so I decided to get involved.
Unfortunately they’ve become less popular amongst young people in Northern Ireland because many think they’re played by the older generation.
My team and I are hoping to change this by showing that anybody can learn how to pipe.
Learning an instrument makes you more confident and allows you to meet some great people.
Hopefully my project will inspire more young people to have a go at bagpiping and see the benefits for themselves.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Neil Somerville supported the project by allowing us to shoot our Fixers film on his premises.
Ulster Scots Agency
Andy McGregor coordinated the rehearsal at which footage was taken for the resource.
The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association
Ian Burrows from the RSPBA (NI branch) helped with some of the research.
Shak & Natasha
Mary-Anne White and Lucy Wills
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
