Growing up, I’ve seen friends give in to peer pressure online and take part in dangerous social media challenges such as the ice and salt challenge, where you burn your skin.
Others, like Neknominate, where you nominate a friend to drink a large amount of alcohol, have proved fatal.
I think people are scared they won’t fit in if they don’t take part, and they end up doing things they later regret.
My message is – don’t give in to peer pressure, it’s ok to say no.
