Campaign: | To educate parents about the damage sugar can do to children's teeth. |
I work in a dental practice and every day we see several children coming in in pain, with dental decay, who have to get referred to hospital to have their teeth taken out.
It makes me feel quite upset because it can be prevented. Parents need to know that it’s the frequency of sugar not the amount of sugar that the children are eating that’s the problem.
I’m working with Fixers to help parents understand about sugar attacks and to try and stop so many children from having tooth decay.
It’s great to be able to speak out about it because if young people start talking about it we could really make a difference to children of the future.
