Campaign: | To combat bullying by helping children to make friends with each other |
I was bullied at school. I got called names. I got pushed around. It made me feel isolated, frustrated and upset and I don’t want other children to suffer like I did.
I think that making friends is the best way of stopping bullying from developing. You don’t go to war with your friends, you don’t hurt each other.
That’s why, with the help of Fixers, a group of my friends and I have developed a game called Buddy Up.
It involves cards with questions on them, which pupils hand out to each other in the classroom.
The idea is to encourage conversations between people who don’t usually hang out together.
I want children to be happy throughout their time at school, because that’s what I missed out on when I was younger.
