We are a group of students from Derby College. Young people often struggle with a number of issues in their lives, which many find difficult to deal with.
Whether it’s mental health, peer pressure, drugs, family breakdowns, or bullying, they can have a real impact on physical and mental wellbeing.
As a team, we have experienced some of these issues, which is why we’ve teamed up with Fixers to create a ‘Stay Strong’ campaign.
The aim of our leaflet and wristband is to promote greater understanding on some of the problems young people face and to provide information on support available.
We believe that whatever life throws at you, as long as you stay positive and move forward, things can be okay.
We all go to Derby College. They helped to facilitate the project.
