Campaign: | To show the dangers of so-called legal highs |
The Psychoactive Substances Act was introduced at the end of May 2016 and bans the production, supply and importation of the now illegal highs.
Even though 'legal highs' have now been banned, they still pose a substantial risk to young people.
My team and I are aware of those who have experimented with these intoxicants and have seen how dangerous they can be.
We fear that the ban is driving substances underground and that people will continue to use them withouth realising the risks.
With Fixers we've produced a film to show young people how these drugs can affect not only themselves, but the people around them.
Ultimately we want people to think twice before taking them and recognise the risks they present.
I would like to thank Fixers Kelsey Johnson and Thea Lund for helping me with this Fix.
