Through volunteering at a youth club I’ve seen how sport can have a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Unfortunately, I think many people are put off by the prospect of playing because they don’t think they’re good enough or that it’s too competitive for them. But it doesn’t have to be.
I’ve found that physical activity is a great way to stay fit, build your confidence and meet new people.
I hope our Fixers project will inspire young people of all abilities to get involved in sport and see the benefits.
