I come from an Irish traveller family.
I’ve lived in a static caravan on private land in Wrexham with my mum, two brothers and sister all my life.
I’m not a traditional traveller - I want a career and I want to learn – just like other people my age.
I’m fed up of being stereotyped and called horrible names like ‘thief’ or ‘scrounger’ – we’re not all bad.
With Fixers I want to raise awareness about the community, which is in fact hard working and has strong family values.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Yale College, Wrexham
The college helped to facilitate the project.
