I have cystic fibrosis which is a degenerative genetic illness that causes the lungs to become clogged with mucus.
When I was born a nurse told my mum that her life was over because of me, and that there would be oxygen tanks in every room in her house.
I have made it my life goal to never be a burden to anyone. I give CF the time it requires (treatments, physio, nebulisers etc.) and nothing more!
My health was always something my parents took care of as any loving parent should, but when I became an adult I realised I had to take care of it myself.
Becoming a personal trainer was probably the best decision I have ever made.
In fact, it was a life-saving decision, as training five times a week is what helps keep me alive by helping to beat mucus build up on my lungs.
So my Fixers project is to promote a healthy lifestyle, because you only have one body.
